Graphite is a familiar medium. It can be dense and dark, but when handled with mastery, it can exude light. Artists Brian Williams and Katy Paull are two artists that are familiar and masterful with the medium. They create light using not only their medium, but often metaphorical and allegorical works. Carbon Bonds is an exhibition featuring two artists that have known each other and their respective work for over 20 years. It is a reflection of each artist in the other, each through graphite.
