Artists Erin Birum and Amy Haggard both create flowers, each in a completely different way. Birum’s work is whispy and elegant, using brushstokes and softness to create a lively, patterned atmosphere. Haggard’s work is more design-based, creating patterns and shapes that fit coherently together like familiar puzzles. After the past year of the world dealing with a pandemic, Blockfort invited these two artists to work together to create In Bloom, an exhibition of growth and beauty.

This exhibition will serve as the first public opening at Blockfort since the start of the pandemic, hopefully and welcomingly.
