Trulie, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been a Columbus-based artist since 2002. Trulie has an extensive background in dance, music, and theatre and began working with paper and producing her own performances in 2012. She was voted into the top 3 Best Local Artists category in 2013 on Columbus Underground, awarded Best Overall Ohio Regional Burlypicks 2016, and Most Innovative 2016 National Burlypicks Competition. Trulie has worked with various performance groups including Shadowbox, Anna and the Annadroids, Nina West, and Evolution Theatre Company.
