Each year, the tenant, alumni, and intern artists at Blockfort are invited to a group exhibition of their work based on a theme. This year’s them is “Restoration”. With the world on fire in many ways, the artists are asked the question “What do we do to repair or rebuild what has been diminished or broken and how do we make things better”? The question can be answered from in a range of ways depending on the artists’ sentiment, from micro to macro. Each artist will create work in their own style. In addition to the exhibition that will be up in both the main gallery and Gallery B, artists will have their studios open for guests to view their recent works and to meet the studio building tenants.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, November 12, from 5-8pm. We hope you will join us.
